Our Geographical& Information Technology Services Department is looking for a dedicated GISDeveloper to join the team.
Position Responsibilities The GIS Developeris responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, integrations, and spatialdata solutions that support municipal operations and public services. This roleworks collaboratively with departments across the organization to deliverinnovative GIS-based tools, automate business processes, and integrate spatialdata into corporate systems to support informed decision-making.
The GIS Developerplays a key role in maintaining mission-critical GIS infrastructure andadvancing the City’s strategic initiatives through modern geospatialtechnologies, automation, and system integrations.

GIS Application Development
Project Management and Alignment
Business Systems Integration &Automations;
GIS Data Management and Support
GIS Operational Support
GIS Enterprise Environment Maintenance& Support
Support and participation of regionalemergency events through GPREP

Qualifications Education &Experience;:
Degree or diploma in GeographicInformation Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Information Systems, SoftwareEngineering or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of experiencedeveloping and supporting enterprise GIS applications and integrations.
Experience working in a municipalgovernment or public sector environment is considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
Experience with ESRI technologiesincluding ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and web GISapplications.
Experience with maintaining an on-premiseArcGIS Enterprise environment including Portal/Server admin, installation andupdating of software, and responsibilities of GIS Enterprise virtual machineinfrastructure.
Experience with FME and GIS automationworkflows.
Knowledge of relational databases andspatial databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud, web services, andenterprise application integrations.
Understanding of GIS data standards,governance, and security best practices.

Hours The standardworkweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule beingdetermined by theimmediate supervisor.
Compensation Salary range of $51.57to $66.65 per hour as per the Out-of-Scope Agreement.
