The Opportunity
As a Business Partner, Care Delivery Innovation, you will support the advancement of innovative models of care across Alberta's health system. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, delivery, coordination, and evaluation of programs and partnerships that improve health outcomes and drive system transformation.
As a key member of the Health Innovation team, you will work closely with healthcare providers, government partners, industry representatives, researchers, and other stakeholders to support program execution, performance measurement, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives that enable innovation in care delivery across the province.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for duties that will include:
Program & Project Delivery and Coordination Support the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of programs and partnerships within the Care Delivery Innovation portfolio.
Lead and manage assigned projects from initiation through implementation and completion.
Coordinate program and project activities, ensuring timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting requirements are achieved.
Provide administrative and operational support to portfolio initiatives while delivering exceptional client and stakeholder service.
Facilitate consistent and efficient processes across multiple projects and programs.
Monitor project progress and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Data Collection, Analysis & Performance Reporting
Implement qualitative and quantitative data collection processes, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other evaluation tools.
Engage stakeholders to gather feedback and insights that support program evaluation and continuous improvement.
Analyze data and information using trend analysis, benchmarking, and other analytical methods.
Support the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and performance reporting tools.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports that provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
Contribute to measuring program impact and outcomes through evidence-based evaluation practices.
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Support
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Alberta's healthcare innovation ecosystem.
Collaborate with industry, government, health system partners, and academic stakeholders to support shared objectives.
Provide advice, information, and recommendations that contribute to program and portfolio success.
Stay current on healthcare innovation trends, emerging practices, policy developments, and economic factors that may influence the health system.
Support strategic and operational planning through research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by helping identify opportunities to strengthen program effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (health sciences, public health, economics, health informatics, etc.)
5 years of experience in a related field
Experience with and knowledge of Alberta’s Health System
Proven ability to implement and coordinate collaborative projects with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with Alberta’s health and economic priorities
Experience working with government and industry across multiple sectors, including innovative technology development and program support
Superb interpersonal networking, client and stakeholder relationship management skills.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, industry colleagues and government representatives to facilitate collaboration.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Exceptional verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively convey complex concepts and information to diverse audiences.
Proficient in project coordination and project delivery.
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in change management associated with complex corporate activities
High attention to detail professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

The minimum salary for this position is $77,500 annually .
