In this position, you will ensure that nursing staff receive the education needed to provide high-quality, safe care. Collaborating with the Care and Services Manager, you will conduct needs assessments, deliver training programs, and keep staff informed about changes in practice settings. Your commitment to client-centered education will be crucial for operationalizing the district educational plan.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train and support clinical preceptors for student placements
• Conduct orientation sessions for new nursing staff
• Organize centre-specific mandatory training
• Implement PSS training to enhance care delivery
• Promote ParaMed's policies through staff education
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing
• 3-5 years in adult education or training roles
• 2-3 years practicing in a community nursing environment
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Current, clear Vulnerable Position Screening required
