Gate Gourmet is actively seeking a 4th Class Power Engineer to support our facility’s maintenance operations. In this hands-on position, you will tackle various tasks including plumbing, welding, and general repairs. This is an excellent opportunity to accumulate millwright hours while working with diverse equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute general and preventative repairs across the facility
• Maintain high pressure and low pressure boiler systems
• Repair and troubleshoot refrigeration and kitchen equipment
• Weld and fabricate components as needed
• Uphold general upkeep in a 24/7 working environment
Requirements:
• Required 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certificate
• At least 1 year experience in maintenance and repairs
• Capable of electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting
• Adaptable schedule for shift work in unionized environments
• Hands-on experience in maintenance is essential
