In this supervisory role, you will lead the Sample Preparation team, ensuring smooth operation during your shift. You’ll focus on training technicians, maintaining quality standards, and resolving issues. Your expertise in laboratory processes and commitment to detail will drive turnaround times and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise sample preparation floor and ensure operational efficiency
• Train and develop Sample Preparation technicians for optimal performance
• Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate records




• Assist with special preparation procedures and mechanical maintenance
• Act as backup to the Floor Supervisor when required
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in geology, chemistry, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in a commercial minerals laboratory
• Forklift license and First Aid Level 1 certification
• Proficiency in laboratory computer systems and mechanical skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in dusty environments
