Jacobs is seeking an experienced Transmission Planning & Studies Engineer to work within North America's power systems teams. You'll support crucial projects and business development focused on utilities in the Northeast US. Solid expertise in transmission planning, FERC, NERC, and NPCC standards is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform steady-state and transient power system studies
Support projects from bidding to close-out
Lead meetings with various utility stakeholders
Collaborate with teams across North America
Engage in ISO/RTO technical committees and forums
Requirements:
Advanced degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering
Minimum 4 years of power system studies experience
Solid knowledge of ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, or IESO
Up to date with NERC, FERC, and NPCC standards
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
