As an Outreach Support Worker, you will assist clients in the Braintree and Uttlesford region. Your responsibilities will include visiting clients at home, supporting them with welfare advantages, and facilitating connections with external support agencies.
The focus is on building resilience and skills rather than providing direct care.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit clients to provide tenancy and life skills support
Assist clients in understanding and accessing welfare perks
Develop essential skills that promote independence
Work with agencies for comprehensive client support
Deliver crisis intervention with a compassionate approach
Requirements:
Supportive role experience, either skilled or voluntary
Understanding of mental health and housing support
Effective communicator and confident problem solver
Hold a valid UK driving licence and vehicle access
Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
