Reporting to the Head of Safety, Security and Emergency Services, the Fire Chief will provide strategic leadership while managing an effective department. Key Responsibilities:



- Lead Airport Fire & Emergency Services strategic operations - Define and implement a multi-year modernization strategy - Partner with leadership for capital and operational readiness - Oversee emergency management frameworks and simulation exercises - Direct complex multi-agency emergency responses
Requirements: - 8+ years in fire services with leadership experience - NFPA certifications: Fire Officer I & II, NFPA 921, NFPA 1003 - Knowledge of National Building Code and Canadian regulations - Familiarity with unionized settings and collective bargaining - Diploma in Fire Services or equivalent
