The Repair Proposal Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering repair service proposals, ensuring fast turnaround times and alignment with customer needs and corporate objectives. This role plays a key part in supporting sales processes, optimizing quotation workflows, and driving standardized offerings and pricing strategies.
Strategy and Objectives Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental objectives in alignment with corporate guidelines. Define strategic and operational goals to optimize processes, efficiency, and business results.
Key responsibilities Develop and deliver small, local proposals independently.
Ensure rapid turnaround time for local proposals.
Support costing for complex proposals in collaboration with GBC, GSLMs, and GRSMs.
Drive standard offerings and implement standardized pricing strategies.
Identify and organize resources required for costing and quotation of Service Repair proposals.
Establish priorities within costing and quotation workflows to ensure timely delivery.
Manage responses, follow-ups, and status updates in the ERP system for Regular Opex opportunities.
Ensure on-time delivery of proposals through client portals or email.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the ERP system to support reliable quotation issuance.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and support the sales process.
Coordinate and lead regular meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
Ensure consistent and transparent communication regarding proposal status and business performance.
Manage the cataloging and standardization of required products and services.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality of processes.
Perform other duties as assigned,
aligned with departmental processes and the scope of the role.
Estimating project would be an asset.
Promote a strong safety and self-care culture across all activities.
Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Actively participate in HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) programs.
Report and support investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Targets, KPIs, Performance Monitoring Number and volume of proposals (tracked via PST and CRM systems).
Proposal lead time (measured via PST).
Order Intake (OI) and Revenue (REV).
Monitor, analyze, and report deviations in key business KPIs.
Track the percentage of proposals delivered within the committed timeframe.
Measure the proposal win rate (awarded vs. submitted proposals).
Evaluate average response time for quotation and proposal requests.
