In this management-level role, you will play a vital part in maintaining Hydro Ottawa’s technical policies, specifications, and procedures. Your expertise will support internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also lead technical committees, assist in project approvals, and help analyze equipment failures for systemic improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain technical policies and procedures
• Support operations in standard work methods development
• Evaluate and approve technical standards and deviations




• Provide guidance for Conditions of Service and third-party attachments
• Represent Hydro Ottawa in industry committees and working groups

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering
• Licensed Qualified Engineer or eligible in Ontario
• Strong knowledge of National Standards for distribution systems
• Proficient in project management and communication skills
• Experience with utility modeling software considered an asset
