Celtic Family is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist starting on August 1, 2026, to enhance student communication abilities within CCRCE's Student Services.
Successful candidates will hold a valid Nova Scotia Teachers Specialist Certificate and a Master's in Human Communication Disorders, along with the eligibility for full membership with the NS College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists. Interviews will assess potential to handle challenges effectively, ensuring optimum support for student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate student speech issues
• Develop tailored therapy programs and interventions
• Work closely with teachers and support staff
• Uphold confidentiality in all matters
• Provide explicit communication with families about student progress
Requirements:
• Valid Nova Scotia Teachers Specialist Certificate
• Master's Degree in Human Communication Disorders
• Must be eligible for NS College membership
• Excellent organizational and evaluation skills
• Experience working with children is highly desirable
