Perhaps you are a CPA student or newly designated CPA who recently conquered the CFE, or maybe you have equivalent experience in public practice without a designation. If you're the one we're looking for, you have the following experience:
Approximately 3-5 years working in a public practice role
Preparation of Compilation Engagement files and T2 corporate tax returns – intermediate level files and above
Understanding of corporate tax balances (CDA, RDTOH, GRIP etc.)
Preparation of corporate or personal tax planning scenario calculations
Preparation of Canadian personal tax returns – intermediate level files and above
Bonus Experience: Preparation of U.S. personal tax returns
Preparation of Trust tax returns
Preparation of Review Engagements and Financial Statements in accordance with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
