Lead the charge in market operations while supporting clean energy goals as the Operational Policy Director at IESO Nova Scotia. Your role is pivotal in ensuring a fair and transparent electricity market.

You will join the Executive Team, initially reporting to the CEO, and take responsibility for designing market rules and administrative systems that underpin Nova Scotias electricity market. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to navigate a complex regulatory landscape.

Youll also engage with key stakeholders, ensuring the efficacy and integrity of market processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and improve market rules and operational policies
Create frameworks for participant registration and requirements




Manage settlement processes and ensure accuracy
Promote data transparency and governance frameworks
Liaise with government and market participants for engagement

Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in relevant fields
Knowledge of electricity market operations and rule development
Experience in administering settlement methods
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven experience leading teams and functions
