HireLoft Recruitment is seeking a skilled Property Accountant for a reputable property management company. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, detail-focused workplace and can manage the full accounting cycle for a diverse property portfolio.

What You’ll Do
Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end close.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, operating reports, and cash flow projections.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Process payroll and related remittances (experience preferred).
Manage HST filings, accruals, and other statutory reporting.
Collaborate with management to improve financial controls and reporting processes.

What We’re Looking For




CPA designation or in final stages preferred ; equivalent experience considered.
Strong QuickBooks Online experience ; ability to perform clean-ups and optimize use of the system.
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and property management financial workflows.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working 100% on-site in a confidential, paper-based setting.
