Become the driving force behind workplace safety as a Safety and Wellness Coordinator at Agnico Eagle, located in Dobie, Ontario. This key role focuses on incident management and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Health & Safety General Supervisor, you will work within the Health & Safety Department, directly impacting the safety framework of the Upper Beaver Mine site. You will lead training efforts, monitor adherence to safety protocols, and prepare safety-related reports, contributing positively to the mining operation’s safety record.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement health and safety programs
Monitor employee compliance with safety regulations
Conduct periodic site inspections and audits
Manage incident reporting and data structure
Promote secure working conditions and best practices

Requirements:
High School Diploma is mandatory
Experience in mining or related fields is essential
Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
Familiarity with EHS software is preferable
Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
