The postdoctoral fellowship will start on September 1, 2026, at Cape Breton University, focusing on affordable rental housing issues. The successful candidate will require access to a Research Data Centre. You will work collaboratively with project supervisors and a specialized working group dedicated to housing studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze Canadian Housing Survey data focusing on renter conditions
• Report findings to project leads and partners
• Produce academic papers, presentations, and public outputs
• Collaborate with the Canadian Housing Survey Working Group
• Examine housing types and their impacts on tenants
Requirements:
• PhD in Sociology, Public Policy, or a relevant discipline
• Solid skills in quantitative research methods

• Experience in community engaged research
