How you create impact
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will maximize cash flow, minimise Days Sales Outstanding and reduce overdue balances, while mitigating risks and supporting sustainable growth.
- Manage and control the Accounts Receivable portfolio
- Communicate regularly with Branch and Department Managers
- Handle daily calls and emails with external customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate business records and sound bookkeeping practices
- Develop, analyse and report on AR metrics
- Resolve invoice disputes and other billing issues
- Reconcile and match customer accounts as needed
- Ensure compliance with AR policies and internal procedures
- Support management with queries on billing, gross profit, volume and collections
- Collaborate with branch controllers to identify and address root causes of issues
What we would like you to bring
- 1+ years of experience in credit and collections
- 1+ years of experience in a customer‑service role
- Strong competency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables required)
- Post‑secondary education in business, finance, accounting or a related field
- Credit certification is a plus
