As a vital part of the healthcare team, you will conduct psychiatric assessments, provide direct care, and ensure smooth patient transitions within the Emergency Department. Your nursing functions will prioritize exposure to diverse patient needs and challenges in mental health and substance use.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed psychiatric assessments on referred patients
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families




• Liaise with community services for patient advocacy
• Document care plans and patient progress accurately

Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Nursing School
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM
• Minimum one year experience in acute mental health settings
• Proficient in crisis intervention techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
