Take charge of facility operations with the Hamiota & District Sports Complex as a Facility Foreman. Manage a bustling community hub including sports arenas and parks in Hamiota, Manitoba.
This full time role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer of the Hamiota Municipality. You'll oversee the Hamiota and District Sports Complex, managing day-to-day operations of the ice arena, curling rink, and outdoor facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, effective staff management, and the ability to work evenings and weekends throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage operations of sports complex and community facilities
• Supervise and allocate staff effectively
• Ensure maintenance of ice and grounds
• Coordinate special events and daily activities
• Collaborate with Recreation Director for Aquatic Centre staffing
Requirements:
• Prior management experience in facility operations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ice making and grounds maintenance knowledge preferred
• Strong self-motivation and leadership skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt necessary skills
