Job Title: Project Manager- Senior

Location: Fredericton, NB (Hybrid) Flexibility

Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension)

Pay Rate: CAD $75 -$90 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead large-scale technology initiatives and digital transformation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex IT projects from planning through implementation while working closely with business, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Current PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects.

Experience leading at least two complex, multi-year digital transformation or IT system implementation projects through the full project lifecycle.

Minimum 3 years of experience delivering IT projects within government or public sector environments.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and deliver large-scale IT and digital transformation projects.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and overall project governance.

Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business, technical, vendor,



and stakeholder resources.

Coordinate and manage projects involving multiple system integrations, including financial systems, mapping/GIS solutions, portals, and legacy applications.

Facilitate project meetings, monitor progress, assign tasks, and provide regular status reporting.

Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to manage project dependencies and ensure successful delivery.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize project impacts.

Prepare and deliver presentations, project updates, and recommendations to senior management and executive stakeholders.

Support effective communication among project teams, business units, vendors, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with teams of 10 or more resources in complex project environments.

Solid expertise in enterprise system integration projects.

Demonstrated success managing project interdependencies across multiple workstreams.

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience with property assessment, property valuation, assessment modernization initiatives, or Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) systems.
