Join P Quintaine and Son LTD as a full time Yard Hand. Engage in livestock care, truck operations, and barn cleaning while supporting our farming activities.
This position involves sorting and receiving pigs, loading and unloading livestock trucks, and ensuring barns are clean with adequate feed and water available. Additional farm duties may arise, and flexibility for weekend work is important. Knowledge of livestock and equipment will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and receive pigs upon arrival
• Load/unload livestock trucks efficiently
• Clean and maintain barns regularly
• Manage feed and water supplies
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Experience with livestock preferred
• Familiarity with farm equipment is beneficial
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to work weekends as needed
