Excel in teaching future nursing leaders as a Sessional Lecturer for NURS4100U at Ontario Tech University. This in-person role requires a commitment to creative and inclusive education.
Reporting to senior nursing faculty, you will be responsible for all aspects of delivering the course in nursing leadership and innovation. The position requires implementing diverse teaching strategies and utilizing technology in the classroom to foster student engagement and learning effectiveness. Your focus will also be on timely feedback and consultation with students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute course curriculum
• Employ innovative teaching techniques
• Evaluate student performance through assessments
• Provide support and consulting during the course
• Coordinate with teaching assistants effectively
Requirements:
• Active RN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Master's degree in Nursing or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
• Ability to use Canvas and remote learning tools
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
