As a member of the Systems Engineering Team within the ICS Section, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and delivery of key naval information systems that support mission-critical capabilities. You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable futureKey Responsibilities:Client and Industry Interactions: Interact with clients, contracted industry partners, operational/technical stakeholders and the Royal Canadian Navy to understand, derive and decompose, and document system requirements for RCD Information Systems. Includes organizing, preparing and leading workshops with government and industry stakeholders to define technical, interface and user requirements. Conduct requirements reconciliation and tracing analysisSystems Engineering: Develop high level architectures, define interfaces to other systems, plan for the physical integration of the systems in the ship (space, weight, power, cooling, racks, cabling), track and assess the impact of new information from stakeholders on the design/test work in progress, and coordinate with information systems subject matter experts who will perform IT detailed design and integration testingDocumentation: Produce engineering artefacts including Technical Data Packages (TDPs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Interface Specification (IFS) documents,



diagrams, plans, schedules, use cases and reports regarding the information systems being developedTeam Collaboration: Participate and contribute in internal and external project technical review, coordination and progress scrums, workshops, sprints and meetings, and support quality objectives through peer reviewsSafety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety cultureMandatory requirement:Canadian Citizenship, with 10 or more years residing in Canada with no periods longer than six continuous months out of country, is absolutely necessary as part of the requirements to obtain a government security clearance to the minimum level of Secret.What You'll BringWe value what you can do—not just where you’ve been.
