Role Description The Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based in Prince George, BC. This role is responsible for dispensing prescriptions accurately, providing medication counseling, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. The Pharmacist will conduct clinical reviews, monitor drug therapy, and collaborate with patients, prescribers, and other health care professionals to optimize health outcomes. Daily responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, managing inventory, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards.



The role also involves delivering excellent customer service, providing health and wellness advice, and supporting in-store clinical programs such as vaccinations and medication reviews.
Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist in valuable standing with the provincial regulatory body in British Columbia (or eligibility for licensure).
Strong clinical knowledge of medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical care principles.
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered counseling and communicate clearly with diverse populations.
Experience with prescription processing systems, pharmacy workflow, and inventory management.
Knowledge of applicable pharmacy legislation, standards of practice, and privacy regulations.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians, assistants, and other health care professionals.
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to safety and quality of care.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset.
Additional certifications (e.g., injection authority, CPR) are considered an advantage.
