Lead the quality engineering strategy for a new digital product
Build automation frameworks from scratch with strong ownership of approach, tooling, and best practices.
Develop and maintain automation suites primarily for web and API layers
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and architecture teams to define quality standards and ensure end‑to‑end test coverage.
Build scalable frameworks for validating portfolio ingestion, smart offer mapping, business rules, and matching logic.
Partner with developers on continuous integration, automation pipelines, and test execution optimization.
Mentor and guide one additional QE on the team; act as the senior technical authority within Quality Engineering.
Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure testability across components and services.
Drive quality metrics, reporting, and ongoing improvements to accelerate release cycles.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of software testing experience with strong expertise in QA automation .
Proven track record building automation strategy and frameworks from scratch.
Strong technical skills in:
Rest Assured (API automation)
Experience testing complex backend workflows, offers engines, rules engines, or portfolio‑based systems is an asset.
Ability to think strategically while remaining hands‑on with automation execution.
Strong problem‑solving skills, able to design solutions for new and undefined workflows.
Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated industries preferred.
