Become a vital part of Schlegel Villages as a Geriatric Attending Physician in Mississauga. This role focuses on delivering exceptional clinical care in a collaborative, resident-centered village environment.
As a new Attending Physician, you will be integral to enhancing resident care through your expertise in geriatrics and chronic disease management. You will work closely with the medical leadership and the multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate cutting-edge medical services. Your responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, guiding medical plans, and ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the Medical Advisory Committee
• Provide medical direction to neighborhood teams
• Conduct comprehensive health documentation for residents
• Collaborate for quality improvement initiatives
• Support infection control and outbreak management
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Physicians in Ontario
• Proven knowledge in geriatrics and chronic care
• Experience managing quality improvement in healthcare
• Strong collaboration skills with healthcare teams
• Availability for on-call after-hours support
