About the Position
Lawrence Elementary School is seeking a permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) Kindergarten teacher beginning August 26, 2026.

The successful candidate will create a welcoming, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of young learners. A strong understanding of early childhood development, play-based learning, Structured Literacy, and trauma-informed practices is essential.





The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues while fostering a classroom culture where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills are important, along with the ability to respond thoughtfully to the diverse needs of learners.
