Aircraft Technician Structures
The Aircraft Technician (Structure) performs aircraft structural inspections, repairs and modification activities in accordance with Manufactures Manuals, Approved Data and the requirements set forth by the Company.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 2:45PM to 1:15AM

Reporting to the Structure Supervisor, the Aircraft Technician (Structure) main duties and responsibilities are broken down as follows

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled structures tasks;

Perform inspections, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair aircraft sheet metal structures and components;

Document discrepancies and raise NRC’s in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and Customer’s Manuals as required;

Determine the proper corrective actions required to rectify discrepancies;

Perform a wide variety of aircraft structural related activities;

Perform modification activities;

Document maintenance actions in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and Customer’s Manuals as required;

Complete a variety of forms, tags and documents in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and Customer’s Manuals as required;





Estimate the time required to complete NRC’s and coordinate with the Project and Trade Supervisors to ensure that the labor requirements for all trades have been accounted for;

Identify and raise Purchase Requests;

Work in close coordination with the Project and Trade Supervisors to ensure that the work is performed within the scheduled timeframe;

Route to quarantine unserviceable, time expired or rejected parts pending disposition;

Ensure that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation;

Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with Company quality standards, policies & procedures and Regulatory Authority requirements (TC, FAA, etc.);

Report any quality issues to the Production Manager and Quality Department;

Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Desired Profile

Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Structure specialization.

Experience in avionics maintenance and inspection.

Strong attention to detail, precision, and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of Transport Canada (TC) and FAA regulations is considered an asset.
