The successful candidate will assist in preparing corporate and personal tax filings, managing bookkeeping records, and ensuring compliance. Working alongside the client engagement team, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying discrepancies and resolving tax-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with tax engagement compilation, bookkeeping, and filing
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and reconciliation processes
• Investigate discrepancies and develop resolutions with managers




• Communicate with government regarding tax assessments and requests
• Collaborate with the client engagement team on projects
Requirements:
• Accounting certificate or bachelor’s in commerce/business administration
• Minimum two years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of T4s, T5s, and tax preparation preferred
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Experience with accounting and tax software is an asset
