The Senior Financial Analyst – Digital Learning is responsible for the preparation of budget, forecasting and various internal and external reports, financial analysis for variance explanation and decision making, accurate accounting of revenue and monitoring of accounts receivable for assigned operating departments. You will foster strong working relationships with clients and leverage exceptional technical skills to optimize internal processes and drive significant efficiencies. You will prepare and present insights based on analysis, key metrics trending, regular financial reporting, and planning.How You Will Make An ImpactAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts including monthly and annual budgets, department/division budgets, multi‑year plans and financial forecasts. Prepare variance analysis and explanations on actuals vs budget, vs prior year actual and vs forecast.Perform account analysis to identify trends and variances.



Collaborate with and provide analysis to cross‑functional teams to support financial decision‑making. Provide support analysis on opportunities and risks. Interpret, summarize and present key findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences.Assist in preparation of internal and external reports including special project funding, etc.Proactively provide financial support and analysis to the Finance team and the operating departments.Ensure capital assets purchased or developed are properly identified, capitalised and amortised over their useful life.Prepare financial analysis for request for proposal, negotiations and projects. Analyse, interpret data and make comparative analysis for proposals/scenarios.Reconcile and record TVO’s various revenue streams on a monthly basis. Oversee miscellaneous sales invoices. Ensure revenue processes follow best practices, proper revenue recognition policies and utilise technology/system integrations to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.Oversee accounts receivable processing including review ageing report, customer account reconciliations, applying deposits, etc. Proactively connect with operating departments to provide support required to monitor accounts receivable. Collaborate with departments to develop collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances. Offer guidance and support on collections of delinquent accounts. Utilise third‑party customer portals for invoice submission and processing when requested. Ensure accounts receivable processes follow best practices and utilise technology/system integrations to enhance efficiency.Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end account reconciliations,



reports and closing processes.Participates in the preparation of ad hoc reports and working papers for the year‑end audit and providing support for samples selected by auditors.Acts as backup for the Senior Financial Analyst – Content & Digital Innovation and the Procurement Specialist.Other duties as assigned.What You Will Bring To TVOMinimum five (5) years of recent and related financial experience.Degree or advanced College Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field.Successful completion of a CPA designation is considered an asset.Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Sparkrock 365 and Power Query is considered an asset.Experience in financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to details to identify and resolve issues.Robust analytical and project management skills including the ability to understand needs/issues of departments and partners and translate them into results.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience working independently and ability to multi‑task and prioritise effectively.Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are met.Demonstrated ability to design and implement process improvements.You live our values: we value bold thinking, we embrace change, we thrive with diverse voices, we honour our commitments, we’re better together.TVO & YOUTVO invests in the learning goals of our employees and commits to developing knowledge through peer‑to‑peer learning, workshops and lunch and learns.
