In this full-time position, you will report to the Manager of Student Services with additional oversight from the Manager of Student Wellbeing. Your role is pivotal in fostering a supportive setting for student growth and success through effective counselling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer personal counselling tailored to student needs
• Address career-related issues faced by students
• Collaborate with management to promote wellbeing
• Ensure confidentiality in all counselling interactions
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions
Requirements:
• Educational background in counselling or a related field
• Strong communication and empathetic skills
• Experience in the student services sector is a plus
• Willingness to work in Stellarton, Calgary, and Mississauga
• Full-time commitment with adaptable hours required
