Join Mattamy as a Corporate Health and Safety Specialist working hybrid in Mississauga, Ontario. Help foster a culture of safety through effective H&S; programs and initiatives.

In this full-time role, reporting to the H&S; Director, you will collaborate with H&S; Managers to improve safety metrics and reports. Your responsibilities include managing claims, supporting training processes, and maintaining orientation records. You’ll also drive the onboarding process for subcontractors and participate in joint committee meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate WSIB/WCB claims management
• Assist in the implementation of H&S; Management Systems
• Maintain employee training and orientation records
• Track leading and lagging health and safety indicators
• Prepare reports and presentations on H&S; data

Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in the construction industry
• Fluency in English and French
• Solid existing computer skills with MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience with incident investigation and reporting
