The YMCA is hiring multiple part time sports instructors focused on children and youth in Toronto, ON. In this six-month hourly contract, you will deliver structured lesson plans, assess participant progress, and maintain up-to-date records. Your role includes coaching, communication with parents, and ensuring safety in all activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging course content for participants
• Develop and implement sequential weekly lesson plans
• Assess and communicate participant progress to parents




• Maintain attendance and safety of recreational equipment
• Participate in scheduled programs and YMCA events

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in child or youth development
• Current certifications in Standard First Aid & CPR
• NCCP Basketball Coaching certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching children in basketball
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
