Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 base salary plus commission on completed projects
First General Services (Sudbury) Inc. is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team full time. This permanent position is based out of our Sudbury office and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, meaningful industry.
With over 25 years of trusted service, we’re a locally owned and operated company backed by a strong national network. We specialize in property restoration for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, helping clients recover from a wide range of damage including fire, water, wind, mould, vehicle impact, vandalism, and other unexpected losses. You’ll be supported by a collaborative, knowledgeable team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and results.
Job Description Scope and estimate restoration projects using Xactimate and insurer standards
Manage all aspects of assigned claims from emergency response through to completion
Coordinate work with internal teams, insurance adjusters, homeowners, subcontractors, and engineers
Meet or exceed First General and client KPIs, including customer satisfaction metrics
Monitor timelines, budgets, quality, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations




Prepare work and purchase orders and approve job-related costs
Identify and communicate opportunities for improved service and operational efficiency
Participate in local and national catastrophe response when required
Collaborate with other Project Managers to resolve issues and share resources
Support training and continuous improvement within the team
What We’re Looking For Minimum 5 years of restoration experience (water, fire, mould, etc.)
Detailed knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
WHMIS certification and solid Health & Safety knowledge
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) – required
Valid Class G driver’s license and clean criminal record – required
Proficiency in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Robust time management and organizational skills
A genuine passion for customer service and continuous improvement
Compensation & Perks $55,000–$65,000 base salary + commission on completed projects
