In this hybrid role, you will play an essential part in enhancing the safety of rail and transit operations. Your main responsibilities will cover the maintenance of safety documentation, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various project teams. Engage with design, Human Factors, and RAM+S teams to streamline hazard management activities and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain hazard management processes and documentation
• Collaborate with project teams on risk control actions
• Assist in hazard identification using recognized methods
• Review safety evidence for compliance with standards
• Contribute to System Safety Reports and technical documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 2–5 years in system or functional safety
• Competency in hazard identification and risk assessment
• Robust technical writing and analytical communication skills
• Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations is a plus
