Jump into a hands-on technical role at CNL’s Recycle Fuel Fabrication Laboratories. As a technician, you will engage in fuel fabrication, actinide chemistry experiments, and maintain safety protocols.
CNL is seeking a proactive S&T; Recycle Fuel Fabrication Laboratories Technician. This role involves conducting research experiments, fabricating fuel materials, and troubleshooting specialized equipment within a nuclear facility. The ideal candidate should enjoy collaborating and taking responsibility in a strictly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and development experiments for fuel fabrication
• Assist in modifying and inspecting experimental equipment
• Ensure equipment operates safely and to regulation
• Maintain records and observations in logbooks
• Solve technical problems regarding equipment and procedures
Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma with 3+ years relevant experience
• Familiarity with laboratory techniques and nuclear handling
• Robust computer skills in Word and Excel
• Ability to wear a respirator and follow safety protocols
• Eligible for Level 2 Secret security clearance
