In this permanent position, you will play a crucial role within the Women’s Anaesthesia department. As an Anaesthesia Assistant, you will support the Anaesthesiologist in various patient care aspects, including monitoring during surgeries and assisting with procedures such as intubations. This role demands a minimum of three years of anaesthesia experience and a diploma in Respiratory Therapy or Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Anaesthesiologist in all anesthesia care aspects
• Monitor patients in perioperative settings
• Provide technical support for anesthesia procedures




• Educate healthcare professionals on new technologies
• Collaborate in Gynecology, Breast Health, and Birth Unit

Requirements:
• Graduated from Canadian Respiratory Therapy or Nursing program
• 3+ years of Anaesthesia Assistant experience
• Registered with NS College of Respiratory Therapists or Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
