Become a Powerline Technician Instructor with Southeast College in Saskatoon. Utilize your expertise to educate students in a hands-on, full time environment.

In this vital role, you will instruct the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship Technical Training Program, focusing on safety, AC/DC theory, and line installation. Your experiences will be critical in developing the curriculum and ensuring students meet their learning objectives through evaluations and practical demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach levels 1 through 4 in the apprenticeship program
• Address topics such as bonding, grounding, and line work
• Regularly assess student progress and maintain records
• Lead curriculum development activities as a subject expert




• Demonstrate training techniques physically and theoretically

Requirements:
• Hold an Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson certification
• 5 to 10 years of relevant Powerline Technician experience
• Instructional experience with adult learners preferred
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and educational platforms
