As a Unit Clerk, you'll be an essential liaison between health professionals, families, and patients in the high-paced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You'll handle various administrative tasks, such as scheduling, greeting visitors, and managing sensitive information while ensuring confidentiality. Experience in a hospital setting and the ability to work wide-ranging shifts are critical for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate communication between departments and patients
• Maintain patient records and manage confidential information




• Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests or treatments
• Direct visitors and health professionals to appropriate locations
• Ensure required supplies are adequately stocked on the unit
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Unit Clerk Certificate with hospital practicum required
• Connect Care experience essential
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
