Working under the supervision of the Team Leader of Communications and Relations, the Community Engagement Coordinator - Onkwe’tàke Ronwanatia’taráni plays a crucial role in executing public relations initiatives. You will be adept at crafting communication materials, scheduling, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders. This position requires flexibility in working hours to effectively engage the community and manage media interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop newsletters, reports, and promotional materials
• Maintain relevant website content and social media channels




• Gather and edit articles for publication
• Organize community involvement and outreach activities
• Collaborate with the communications team for effective strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Journalism
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong public speaking and networking skills
• Knowledge of Mohawk culture and community
• Valid driver’s license required
