Overview

The Project Control Officer will support technology initiatives within the bank's Technology & Operations – Engineering and Platforms portfolio. The role will provide project coordination, governance, reporting, and documentation support, with particular emphasis on projects involving IT audit findings, regulatory or compliance requirements, control remediation, and process management .

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, technology teams, risk and compliance partners, and control owners to track commitments, maintain audit-ready evidence, and ensure remediation activities are completed within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate project activities, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items across multiple technology initiatives.
- Track IT audit findings, compliance obligations, control gaps, and remediation plans through completion and closure.
- Maintain detailed RAID logs, remediation trackers, governance documentation, and supporting audit evidence.
- Monitor deadlines, dependencies, and outstanding actions; proactively escalate risks or delays.
- Prepare weekly status reports, executive updates, dashboards, meeting materials, and governance reporting.
- Coordinate meetings with Project Managers, technology teams, risk, compliance, audit, and control stakeholders.
- Support the collection, validation, organization, and submission of documentation required for audit or compliance reviews.
- Ensure project records and repositories are complete, accurate, traceable, and audit-ready.
- Support project financials, resource tracking, change control, and standard PMO processes as required.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 3–5+ years of experience as a PCO, Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, or PMO Analyst within a large enterprise environment (financial services).
- Demonstrated experience supporting IT audit, regulatory compliance, technology risk, control remediation,



or governance-related projects .
- Experience tracking audit findings, remediation actions, evidence requirements, accountable owners, and closure dates.
- Strong understanding of project governance, status reporting, RAID management, and documentation controls.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or MS Project.
- Solid follow-up, organization, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience supporting technology infrastructure, engineering, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform initiatives.
- Familiarity with IT controls, internal audit processes, regulatory examinations, or risk-management frameworks.

Location: Toronto (Hybrid, 2-3x/week)
