Senior Manager/Manager, Facilities Development & Infrastructure You will assist in planning and implementation of the project, with a focus on continued liaison between users, consultants, contractors, and government ministries and agencies, to ensure that the progress, budget, and quality of the development are in accordance with the established programme, guidelines, and users' requirements.
As part of the Development Secretariat Team, you will contribute to developing the developments under Phase 2B (Ph2B) of the SGH Campus Master Plan to meet future healthcare needs, ensuring that they are completed within the approved proposal, timeframe, and budget, and that they integrate with existing and future campus facilities mapped out in the SGH Campus Master Plan.
Your job responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Organise and facilitate user workgroup discussions to determine user requirements and workflows for the development of concept, schematic, and detailed design plans
Provide secretariat support to planning committees, work with consultants to update and refine the Campus Master Plan based on the latest healthcare and operational needs, technological advancements, and projections, and liaise with consultants, contractors, government agencies,
and end-user stakeholders
Review procurement processes, specifications, and requirements, facilitate the evaluation and procurement of consultants and contractors, ensure development progress is in accordance with the project timeline and budget, and coordinate with consultants and users to resolve site construction issues
Work with user workgroups to develop furniture and equipment (F&E;) lists and specifications for procurement, manage the F&E; budget within the approved scope and cost, and organise building inspections to facilitate handover to users for setting-up and opening as scheduled.
Review and manage all change requests and variation orders to ensure alignment with project objectives, timeline, and cost, work with consultants on final accounts, and ensure all permits, licences, and project-related documentation are properly procured, captured, and filed.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 8 years (Senior Manager) or 6 years (Manager) of experience in healthcare is required.
Previous experience in planning and/or project management of major facility development would be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate is a team player and robust collaborator, as well as an independent worker who possesses the initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned.
