This position at the Ontario Native Women’s Association focuses on enhancing the capacity of Indigenous women through leadership initiatives. Utilizing your robust communication and organization skills, you will coordinate events and build connections within the community. The role involves creating and delivering workshops that foster community relationships and facilitate leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver training programs and coordinate leadership events
• Strengthen connections within ONWA and the community
• Facilitate collaborative workshops with effective tools
• Drive resource development and program enhancement
• Manage communication and outreach efforts
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences or similar
• 3-5 years of relevant community experience
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous traditions and community needs
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
