To work at our Air Products project in Edmonton, AB.

SALARY: $124.44

START DATE: ASAP

SCHEDULE: 5/2

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)

SHIFT: Dayshift

DURATION: 6+ months

Responsibilities

Develop and or interpret patterns and blue prints.

Perform different welding processes and fillers depending upon the type of metal, its size and shape, and requirements for finished product strength.

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using different processes

Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment

Operate brazing and soldering equipment

Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes,



shears and other metal straightening and bending machines

Repair worn parts of metal products by welding extra layers

Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch

May perform other duties as assigned

Complete all required safety documentation

Requirements

Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Welding ticket from a recognized provincial training authority

B-Pressure and CWB SMAW(F4) CS S & SMAW(F5) SS S

GTAW experience will be the most significant. Required tickets are F6/F4, F6/F5, F3/F4

Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space

Strong communication skills written and verbal

Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
