Be a key player at FNHA as a Nursing Coordinator overseeing CDC and TB initiatives. Your impactful role will directly support health and wellness in First Nations across British Columbia.
In this part time, temporary position, you will coordinate various public health initiatives, requiring a nursing degree and 3-5 years in public health nursing, specifically in TB. You will implement screening programs, oversee case management, and engage with community health organizations to optimize TB health strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead TB screening initiatives and case management
• Coordinate clinical activities with BCCDC and partners
• Guide TB nurse advisors in their roles
• Participate in developing training for CDC staff
• Assess and improve community health strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university
• Current BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration
• 3-5 years in public health nursing focused on TB
• Flexibility to travel to First Nations communities
• Experience with PANORAMA data systems is beneficial
