As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with the production team, ensuring the successful implementation of new systems and design changes. You'll focus on cost reduction and participate in audits to maintain accuracy in the manufacturing process. Providing effective documentation and fostering continuous improvement will be essential to your success at MCI.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with initial builds and revisions for new systems
• Ensure readiness of the plant for new coach models
• Design routing and sequence for assembly line
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures
• Develop production documentation and visual aids
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
• 1-5 years in a manufacturing setting, ideally automotive
• Experience with Six Sigma and LEAN
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
