This Seasonal Lifeguard position in St. Louis includes essential responsibilities such as monitoring swimming pools, enforcing safety rules, and providing swimming instruction. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise pool areas to prevent accidents
• Teach swimming skills using American Red Cross methods
• Perform rescues as required for emergency situations

• Coach and officiate during aquatic competitions
Requirements:
• Applicants must be at least 15 years old
• Must swim 300 yards continuously as a test
• Successful completion of American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
• Ability to tread water for 2 minutes using legs only
• Complete a timed exercise retrieving a 10-pound item
