In this two-year contract role, you will play a key part in delivering high-impact journalism on critical national issues. Working closely with the Intelligence Unit Editor, you will manage collaborations with academics, business leaders, and policy experts to deepen coverage. Your expertise in explanatory reporting will guide the development of ambitious storytelling formats, ensuring clarity and a strong editorial standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission and edit high-impact journalism on national issues
• Collaborate with reporters and external experts
• Shape investigative reporting examining causes and solutions
• Coordinate multi-platform editorial projects
• Maintain accuracy and clarity in all content
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of senior editing experience
• Expertise in long-form or enterprise journalism
• Robust editorial judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Interest in public policy and societal topics
