This contract role works closely with the project Tech Lead to deliver web application enhancements, SQL Server solutions, and Azure-integrated functionality in a hybrid Calgary environment. The position offers direct involvement in high-impact operational systems within the oil & gas sector.

Must Haves
10+ years in .NET web application development using C# , ASP.NET Blazor , and Entity Framework
SQL Server database development, optimization, and performance tuning
Azure DevOps for Git source control and work/sprint planning
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree

Nice to Have
OWASP coding principles and .NET security protocols
Microsoft Fabric data engineering toolsets
Transportation or logistics software development

Responsibilities
Develop web application features using C#, ASP.NET Blazor, and Entity Framework
Maintain and enhance internal web applications supporting transportation operations
Design and optimize SQL Server database solutions
Integrate application functionality with Microsoft Azure services
Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and Blazor
Collaborate with the Tech Lead and project team on application requirements
Participate in code reviews and testing processes
