Job Overview:COMPANY PROFILEPrimoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.SUMMARYThe Steamfitter-Pipefitter is involved in connecting pipe, hydro-testing, and rigging. This work may exist indoors or outdoors depending on the scope and is typically physically demanding.Anticipated Start Date: August 24, 2026Location: CNRL Horizon Sustaining (CNRL CMS)Shift: 10 day shift followed by a 24 day shift - modified based on project needs.Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton and CalgaryAccommodation: Camp availableHourly Rate: $53.56Additional Information: 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices may be considered.UNION POSITIONJOB DUTIESComply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S; standardsSelect type of pipe, size of pipe, and systems by applying knowledge of system operation and following blueprintsConstruct support hangers and hydraulic cylinders according to specificationsUtilize pipe bending tools or machines to bend pipePerform pressure tests by increasing pressure in pipe systems and observing pressure gauges to test for leaksEnsure that holes cut in pipe will not cause structural weaknessConnect pipe utilizing threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, or fused joints and hand toolsInstall and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic components of machines and equipment,
